This is a congregation of religious sisters, originated in Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese during 1975, the International Year for Women. It was started by Rev. Fr Thomas Maliekal in Mallussery Parish situated 8 kilometers west of Angamaly, Kerala, India. Status: This congregation was at first approved as a Pious Union of Women Living in Common by the late Cardinal Mar Joseph Parekattil in 1983. It was elevated to the status of a Diocesan Congregation by His Eminence Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil in 2000. September 8 is the Foundation Day and December 25 the Elevation Day of this congregation. At present there are more than 60 members. Rev. Sister Rosy is the Superior General. The generalate and formation houses are at Mallussery. There are six houses in Ernakulam Archdiocese in Kerala State and two houses in Chanda diocese in Maharashtra State and two houses in Adilabad Diocese. One in Thrissur diocese.
